"Little Secret", new album at the crossroads of original jazz, sixties soul, and a certain pop, soaked in Californian sunshine. Benefiting from the wise advice of Quincy Jones, her mentor, co-manager, and executive producer, Nikki presents Little Secret, a retro charm but produced in such a modern way that it is sometimes difficult to determine the era of the songs. Recorded and produced with the help of Rob Kleiner (Cee-lo Green, Flo-Rida), Harmony Samuels (Ariana Grande, Chris Brown), David Wilder (Macy Gray, Rod Stewart), Mocean Worker, and Dan Cinelli (Prince, Arcade Fire), Nikki manages to perfectly blend pop song structures and big band brass, festive rhythms and finely crafted harmonies, catchy melodies and scat solos. Her powerful and perfectly controlled voice ensures the coherence of the whole. When asked how Nikki would define her music, she replies with a smile: "a mix of Ella Fitzgerald, Etta James, Ray Charles, Quincy, and me."
