Nightmares On Wax aka DJ E.A.S.E. aka George Evelyn, presents a re-release of the compilation Late Night Tales. Tom Scott's 'Sneakin' In The Back' – one of hip-hop's most sampled beats – makes an appearance in all its glory, whilst Quincy Jones, the inspiration behind NOW's 'Nights Interlude', holds up the classics with 'Listen (What It Is)'. Evelyn's hip-hop sensibilities are at the forefront throughout and this particularly shows on 'Intergalactic Throwdown' from ex-Freestylers DJ, Mad Doctor X. We also can't forget Dusty's sublime version of 'Spooky', Classic IV’s treasure. Finally, there's the now traditional cover version, with George serving up a syrupy take on 'Brothers On The Slide' which pays homage to the original British funk soul brothers, Cymande.
