The "Reloved" series – an ongoing series from Four Flies Records in which contemporary producers revisit selected gems from the golden age of Italian library music and soundtracks – is enriched by a new installment signed by the formidable duo formed by Nicola Conte and Nico Lahs. The tracks reinterpreted on this vinyl EP all date from the first half of the 1970s, a period when the fascination with African images and sounds was so widespread among Italian composers that it came to constitute a major cultural and aesthetic trend. This is without a doubt the most club-oriented opus in the Reloved series to date, propelling the Italian musical heritage from music libraries, once confined to the airwaves of the past, onto today's dance floors.
