Nico's solo albums, *The Marble Index* (1968) and *Desertshore* (1970), long unavailable, will be reissued on March 29. These reissues, featuring remastered sound from the original tapes and never-before-seen photos of the German singer taken by Guy Webster, give these works new life. *Desertshore*, co-produced by her Velvet Underground bandmate John Cale, has gained renown over time, like much of Nico's early work, placing it among her most accessible works, alongside *Chelsea Girl*.
