Since its release in 2013, Nick Lowe's Christmas album, Quality Street: A Seasonal Selection for All the Family, has been praised by critics for its "retro reinvention of the Christmas album" (Uncut) and has been named by TIME and Rolling Stone as one of the greatest Christmas records of all time. Featuring original songs by St. Nick himself, such as the spirited "Christmas at the Airport" and the tender "I Was Born in Bethlehem," as well as reimagined covers like an ironically grandiloquent and swinging rendition of "Silent Night" and the rearrangement of "I Wish It Could Be Christmas Every Day" by Wizzard and "Old Toy Trains" by Roger Miller.
