Produced by their now faithful companion NICK LAUNAY, who has worked on the band's last three albums, and recorded in a 19th-century mansion in the south of France, the opus is considered by its composer to be the Bad Seeds' most accomplished album to date. The first video, directed by the celebrated French director GASPARD NOÉ, immediately plunges us into the album's haunting and unsettling atmosphere, with its raw yet delicate sounds.
