In 1990, the New Bomb Turks came together as four students from Ohio State University who simply wanted to rock. This is their 7th studio album: Nightmare Scenario. The New Bomb Turks reconnect with their first mistress with crooked teeth — a hard and unrestrained American punk rock. With the guitar rhythm of Chuck Berry, the blinding ferocity of Motörhead, and the snot of the Dead Boys, singer Eric Davidson and his backing trio pull a dozen authentic grenades of old-school three-chord riffs in just over half an hour, with not a single pause between the tracks. You can't quibble with the four-on-the-floor intensity of tracks like the opening assault Point To A Point Blank. It was recorded over four days and four nights, the only break being a trip to a bar to see a reunited Real Kids, their first concert in years, which blew the band away and only added mezcal to the fire.
