The violinist Nemanja Radulovic joins the Warner Classics family! In his new album, Nemanja and his ensemble Double Sens take us on a musical world tour, from Serbia to Ireland, passing through Argentina and Japan. Extraordinary gifts for classical violin, a heritage from southeastern Europe, a cosmopolitan French identity, an absolute belief in the transcendence of music as a human language, and a desire to travel induced by the lockdown combine in Nemanja's album Roots, a world tour through some of the richest melodic traditions the world has to offer. A multicultural album that pays tribute to the greatest tunes and legends of the violin! Radulovic studied music in Serbia before joining the Conservatoire de Paris. Now based in France, he specializes in Slavic music as well as contemporary rock and classical music. He is the founder of the ensembles The Devil's Trills and Double Sens, and collaborated with the latter for 'Roots', his first album with Warner Classics. This album includes works of traditional music from over 20 countries that have been arranged for him and Double Sens. This project began during the lockdowns of 2020 and invites listeners to break free from isolation on a musical journey around the world. Radulovic's career took off in 2006 when he temporarily replaced Maxim Vengerov and gave a critically acclaimed performance of Beethoven's Violin Concerto with the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France and Myung-Whun Chung.
