Ace Records is closing the festivities of its 50th anniversary in style with an exceptional selection of classic reissues emblematic of the label. Five of them are limited editions on colored vinyl, and one of them is an essential classic reissued in its original version. The Damned enjoyed creating this fictional concept under which they covered a multitude of classics from the 60s, such as "Nobody But Me" by The Human Beinz, "The Wind Blows Your Hair" by The Seeds, and "Action Woman" by The Litter. The cover fueled rumors that it was the soundtrack to a lost film from 1967. The original version of "Give Daddy The Knife Cindy," released in 1984, was pressed on purple vinyl, but we have since pressed it on black vinyl. With The Damned still as popular as ever and their 50th anniversary approaching in 2026, this edition will undoubtedly sell out before you even have time to sing "I Had Too Much To Dream (Last Night)."
