26 playful and educational songs to discover new words by following the letters of the alphabet. Each nursery rhyme revolves around an animal, with each sentence containing at least one word starting with the same letter as that of the animal. The interpreter of the 26 tracks, Natasha St-Pier, in duet on 6 of them, crosses paths with reliable names from French variety (Florent Mothe, Les Stentors) as well as new talents (Julien Dassin, the group Zut and also MB14 (also with sound effects on all tracks). While the lyrics are written in a very playful spirit, some convey a deep and touching message (about the environment, pollution, or the mistreatment of animals...). Stories that the young audience will undoubtedly be very sensitive to. And without a heavy moral that would spoil the fun because, above all, we are here to entertain! On the musical side, the melodies, far from being regressive, are easy to memorize, childlike but never childish. And each song has its own style (variety, jazz, rock...), which allows awakening the child to varied atmospheres and melodic colors. Natasha's role as a mother has greatly inspired her for this album, which should reconcile adults with children's music.
