Narrow Head's debut album, *Satisfaction*, is available on vinyl again for the first time since its initial release in 2016. Reissued by Run For Cover, this version of the album features reworked artwork and a limited-edition color pressing. While the band offered a handful of singles and demos prior to *Satisfaction*'s release, this record offers a perfect introduction to the world of the Houston group. Listening back to *Satisfaction* after the release of 2020's *12th House Rock*, one finds a younger version of the band refining their signature sound by blending melodies, power, and atmosphere. The opening track, "Necrosis," immediately recalls the power of genre precursors, such as their stage companions Quicksand, while the flagship track, "Cool In Motion," starts with what sounds like a timeless alt-rock riff before disintegrating into a melodic and airy jam.
