The first clear and intentional album from London singer, songwriter, and artist Naomi Scott. Produced by Lido (Jordan Ward, Ariana Grande, Amine), "F.I.G" is a rich artistic work that builds a universe in which Scott delivers a collection of 11 songs reflecting the inspirations drawn from the soundscape of her life. From the soulful gospel music of her youth (Mary Mary, Kim Burrell) to the 80s stars that populated her father's Windows Media Player (Michael Jackson, Peter Gabriel, Kate Bush), and the alternative pop heroes of her teenage blog era (Jessie Ware, Robyn, and others), "F.I.G" resonates with the alluring specters of these influences while transporting them to an exciting and unprecedented realm. It is the work of a fully-fledged artist, delivering her most personal and assured piece to date. Naomi beautifully capped off an exceptional musical year with the release last November of "Sweet Nausea," a swirling, confessional pop track supported by Radio 1 Future Pop. She also made her live debut in the UK with two concerts in her hometown at the Moth Club in London and opened for Blood Orange at Alexandra Palace in November.
