NAKED EYES

Description

Naked Eyes are a British new wave band best known for their 1983 hit song "Always Something There to Remind Me," a synth-pop cover of the Burt Bacharach/Hal David standard which charted in the Top 10 in the US. Formed by Pete Byrne (vocals) and Rob Fisher (keyboards) in Bath, England, the duo achieved success with their synthetic sound and catchy melodies. Their self-titled debut album was released in 1983 and featured the US Top 40 singles "Promises, Promises," "When The Lights Go Out," and "Always Something There To Remind Me." Remastered by Phil Kinrade at AIR Mastering, this album includes a wealth of bonus tracks, with remixes by legendary producer Jellybean (including a version of "Promises, Promises" with additional vocals by Madonna).
