The repertoire of this second album is in continuity with the first. My approach has not changed, I am still in search of music rooted in non-Western musical traditions and turned towards the unknown, this new music that we create in spontaneity. My music is a reflection of this crazy world that is both of extreme violence and great beauty. It speaks of rage, revolt, pain, and war but also of love and the courage of the men and women with whom I feel I share an identity, a will, or just a hope. I speak of the pain of a people because it is also my pain, of the courage of a village because I admire it, or of a love I have experienced because others have experienced it too. I express feelings that belong to everyone because they belong to me too, or personal stories that could be those of others.
