In the world of MX LONELY, monsters are multifaceted entities. They are the creatures we imagined lurking in the shadows during childhood, the real-life wrongdoers who abuse their power or profit from suffering, the vices and flaws we face throughout our lives, and what we can become under their influence. On their debut album, ALL MONSTERS, the Brooklyn-based band explores the darkest corners, breaks down doors, and unearths these monsters through a heavy, dark alt-rock sound imbued with striking beauty. A fully self-produced debut, ALL MONSTERS reveals the talent of the band, composed of keyboardist/vocalist Rae Haas, guitarist Jake Harms, bassist Gabriel Garman, and drummer Andy Rapp. The quartet captured an analog, direct, and authentic sound, reflecting the energy of their live performances, while offering a richer and more nuanced experience than ever before. Moving forward, they aim to continue touring and build a community based on shared catharsis. “I believe that is the very essence of our approach, of our aspiration: for everyone to have the space and tools necessary to confront their own demons,” explains Haas.
