Muzz is the new project of Paul Banks (Interpol singer), Josh Kaufman (acclaimed producer, member of Bonny Light Horseman), and Matt Barrick (drummer for Jonathan Fire*Eater, The Walkmen, and touring with Fleet Foxes). The super-trio officially announces their self-titled debut album for Matador. The result of a long-standing collaboration and friendship between the three musicians, the band began experimenting in 2015 through demos and jam session recordings. The word "Muzz" perfectly describes the almost analog texture of their music, intimate and distant at the same time. Muzz's debut album, dark, languid, and soulful, will be released on June 5th.
