Description

Muzz is the new project of Paul Banks (singer of Interpol), Josh Kaufman (acclaimed producer, member of Bonny Light Horseman), and Matt Barrick (drummer for Jonathan Fire*Eater, The Walkmen, and live performer with Fleet Foxes). The super-trio officially announces its first self-titled album for Matador.
Born from a long-standing collaboration and friendship between the three musicians, the band began experimenting in 2015 in the form of demos and jam session recordings. The word "Muzz" perfectly describes the almost analog texture of their music, both intimate and distant.
The first album by Muzz, dark, languorous, and soulful, will be released on June 5th.
