Trick or treat? This compilation is a bit of both! Curated by Little Victor and the Stag-O-Lee label, this collection of wild swing tunes spans the decades from the 1920s to the 1940s in a raw way, perfect for dancing the Lindy Hop, Shag, or Balboa all year round! They had so much fun sifting through tons of old 78s, listening to them again and again, rejecting or keeping them, discovering forgotten gems until dawn. They also wanted to do something special for the artwork, so they used a 1930s Vocalion label sleeve as a base for theirs, trying to preserve the vintage look. The original recordings on this disc come from their personal collection accumulated over 40 years. The sound therefore cannot be perfect, but they did their best to preserve these great tracks for the future. So enjoy them, they hope you will love them and listen to them again and again and... cry for more!
