An album of re-interpretations signed by the cream of the European and American indie scene, The Jeffrey Lee Pierce Sessions Project was initiated by CYPRESS GROVE, the late JEFFREY LEE PIERCE's bassist and co-founder of THE GUN CLUB alongside KID CONGO POWERS. He indeed found lost tracks, lyrics, and tape fragments, which he then offered for reinterpretation over 13 years to friends and fans of his former leader.
