« Restons amis » is the moving story of thirteen students from Star Academy 4 who reunite sixteen years after their television success to pay tribute to their friend who left us too soon. They wanted and needed to come together for the time of an unreleased album, sold for the benefit of the Grégory Lemarchal association. In 2004, the 4th season of Star Academy begins on TF1. 18 candidates. Only one will remain. No doubt for their peers: the one who just sang will win this fourth edition - in front of nearly 10 million viewers. Grégory triumphs, Grégory becomes a star in the eyes of his friends. His career is meteoric. On April 30, 2007, Grégory passes away, taken by cystic fibrosis. This is the first time in France that candidates from the same show come together to record an album nearly 20 years later. This project, published in partnership with the Grégory Lemarchal association, marks the media return of one of the most emblematic seasons of Star Ac. Also and especially because no one has forgotten Grégory Lemarchal. Their names are Francesca, Hoda, Karima, Radia, Tina, Sandy, Lucie, Mathieu, Sofiane, Gauthier, Enrique, John, Morgan... Thirteen students who have left a mark on the minds of viewers, thirteen students who are still talked about, sixteen years later, regarding their television adventure. This album, dedicated to their friend, allows them through ten tracks from artists who came to visit them on the show to convey the values that are dear to them: friendship, the hopes one has at 20, family, their funny life, reunions, the loss of one of their own... Goldman, Calogero, Sanson, Fugain, Voulzy are covered. The unreleased track “La marelle” will touch hearts. The first single from this album is the cover of the hit by their friend Grégory Lemarchal: “Restons amis”.
