Return or rebirth for the band Mule Jenny, born in 2020. After composing and recording his first album alone under this strange name, evoking in no particular order spinning mills, the Luddites, hybridization and a female first name taken from an opera by Kurt Weill, Etienne Gaillochet (drummer and singer of We Insist!) was very quickly joined by Max Roy and Théo Guéneau of Lysistrata. Together, they first developed a live set for tours in 2023. After very fruitful rehearsals, they decided to record a second album in a radically different form. It would involve a great deal of preparatory work and a lightning-fast recording in 3 days in the studio. This second album therefore has the virtues of live performance, spontaneity and energy, and now features a real band sound and its own identity.
