Description
Resiliente is a noise album, infused with doses of free jazz, melodic fragments, blasts, drones, and heavy saturated textures. In this work, the noise band Mula from Chapinero (a neighborhood in Bogota) breaks new ground, opening up a field of emancipated free jazz noise where distortions reinvent imaginaries and instruments. Between irony and provocation, MULA's cacophony incorporates samples in German and Spanish, field recordings, and splashes of guacamole recipes: guacamole without chili is like love without desire, verses from the father of Rasqa's creator, Mr. Edson Velandia.
