Mueller and Roedelius form a captivating duo on the album "Imagori II", blending electronic krautrock and ambient sounds.
German electronic music veteran Hans Joachim Roedelius teams up with musician Christoph H Müller of Gotan Project for the second volume of their collaboration. Roedelius is one of the pioneers of "krautrock". Imagori II is the result of a collaboration crystallized through numerous email exchanges. The ten tracks that emerge from it have varying evocative power, where beats and machines on one side (Müller) and synths and classical piano on the other (Roedelius) blend harmoniously.
We move from an initial series of tame and decorative ambient electro instrumentals to a darker, more detailed, complex sound exploration.
