Solid Jackson, released by the legendary Criss Cross label under the name of Mr. T.B.'s group, reunites in the studio, thirty years later, four of the five musicians who recorded the intricate day-after-Christmas on Criss Cross's 1994 album Consenting Adults. This all-star band reformation consists of pianist BRAD MEHLDAU, tenor saxophonist MARK TURNER, guitarist PETER BERNSTEIN, and bassist LARRY GRENADIER, joined by drummer BILL STEWART to complete the quintet.
