Mork celebrates its twentieth anniversary with their seventh opus, 'Syv', a rich and eclectic work. Thomas Eriksen, after his Udåd project, explores exquisite melodies and brutal riffs, sometimes progressive, against a backdrop of melancholy. 'Syv' addresses themes such as mortality and the contrasts of human existence, inspired by ancient tales. Eriksen produced, recorded, and mixed the album, with the help of Freddy Holm for strings and synths. The mastering was done by Maor Appelbaum and Jack Control. Since its founding in 2004, Mork has become a pillar of the Norwegian black metal scene, especially since the release of their first album 'Isebakke' in 2013.
