Moontwin is made up of singer-songwriter Maple Bee (aka Melanie Garside) and Zac Kuzmanov, founder of the global alternative radio station XRaydio. Longtime friends in London, they moved to his native Bulgaria after contracting a degenerative muscle disease (ALS). They then began composing virtually between Cornwall (UK) and Plovdiv (Bulgaria). Moontwin is releasing its second album, simply titled “two”. It includes the crowd favorites “Storm In A Shell”, “Around & Around” and “Symbols”, as well as four unreleased tracks. The new single, “Doused in Blue”, rises and resonates, crashes and collapses, creating a captivating, nostalgia-filled track. The duo embarks on a dreamlike journey, their lives weaving together through the seasons, their evolution both exquisite and painful. The song captures something of our shared experience as human beings negotiating the passage of time. Doused in Blue is the latest single from Moontwin’s new album, “two”.
