Beggars Arkive is reissuing 'Eva Luna,' the debut album from British underground post-punk band Moonshake (1991-1997). Known for their avant-garde sound, which incorporated samples at a time when reactionary Britpop was the ascendant culture, Moonshake, almost despite themselves, created a musical genre now identified as "post-rock." However, their music has retained a unique and idiosyncratic quality over the years. Originally released in 1992 via Too Pure and Matador, this reissue of 'Eva Luna' features the 10 original remastered tracks, augmented by 9 previously unreleased tracks and rarities pressed on double blue vinyl.
