The groundbreaking debut album by Mogwai, "Young Team", originally released in October 1997, is reissued in sky blue gatefold with its original cover, remastered and refreshed on colored vinyl, CD, and digital.The original sound engineer of the album, Paul Savage, who notably produced Franz Ferdinand and The Twilight Sad, has remastered the album for this special reissue.
Recorded in what would soon become the Chem19 studios of Chemikal Underground by Paul Savage, owner of the label and drummer of The Delgados, the sessions were, by the band's own admission, "turbulent, disorganized, and hastily mixed."
