In April, Modeselektor released Extended, a mixtape entirely made up of their own tracks. The Berlin duo now presents their new album EXTLP, which includes 15 full versions of tracks selected from the mixtape. EXTLP is deeply rooted in rave sounds, but there is much more to this adventure than techno and breakbeats. Through its 15 tracks, Modeselektor wanders between mutant distortions, dub meditations, nocturnal synth-pop, and more. EXTLP is accompanied by a host of guests, including veteran dub singer Paul St. Hilaire, British rapper Flohio, avant-pop pioneer Catnapp, and the legendary frontman of Einstürzende Neubauten: Blixa Bargeld.
