Mix Mup & Kassem Mosse celebrate the ten years of their unique and offbeat beginnings with *Ich sehe Vasen*: a massive delivery of over an hour and 19 tracks, made of raw percussion and hazy samples, arranged in a "beatdown" style that will delight fans of Theo Parrish, STL, or Actress. In 2012, their self-titled debut album had become a staple around here, appreciated for its unusual blend of twisted grooves. After a long break - only interrupted by the three-track EP 'Have You Seen Them' - the German duo returns with a bang. They compensate for this prolonged absence with a dense and rewarding session, rich in wobbly and swaying rhythms, spontaneous keyboard lines, and unstable ambient textures, naturally finding its place alongside the other UFOs of the TTT label. The extended format of 'Ich sehe Vasen' allows for a more labyrinthine exploration of their intuitive and lo-fi style.
