THE ROOF IS ON FIRE

Description

Recorded during the tour in Germany in 2022/2023. With the band Engerling. A lineup with which he has been performing for nearly 30 years! “This double CD was part of my 75th birthday during a tour in Germany. Normally, I would object to the idea of involving my age in any aspect of my life. You see, when it comes to music, age has no importance. So whether you make music with beginners or seasoned veterans, as is the case for this compilation, the focus is not on age but on enjoyment and music combined. I know most of the players in this work very well. Over the years, since our first rehearsal in a communist youth center in East Berlin, our integrity, power, self-respect and fulfillment have grown unilaterally. For the fans who have followed us from the beginning, they will easily notice that the music created with this group of musicians gives a real boost to my beginnings in West Germany. So sit back, listen and enjoy an evolving process that, I hope, will continue forever. Love, Mitch Ryder”
