Description
"Born to Skank" is the title of the second album by Mister Leu & the Nyabinghers, following "Born to Reggae." This album is dedicated to ska music, the kind one could hear at Jamaican dances in the 1960s. It was recorded in several sessions in the Pyrénées Orientales during 2023 at Record It, Les Fauteuils Rouge, and La Casa Musicale studios by Chromatic Records. Twelve artists influenced by The Skatalites, New York Ska Jazz, Jazz Jamaïca, Toots & the Maytals, and Laurel Aitken collaborated on this album.
