Their first proper album, Highly Refined Pirates, originally released in 2002, has been given a new sonic treatment for the occasion. The record has been remastered from the original tapes by Bernie Grundman, a key figure in the music industry, responsible for many major recordings made in Hollywood. This approach restores all the depth and precision to an album that marked the beginning of a unique sonic identity. The first pressing is limited to 2,000 copies: 1,000 on 180g black vinyl and 1,000 on translucent blue vinyl, each accompanied by a download coupon.
