Aprender a Ser: Extended is an EP by the Mexican band Mint Field. It was recorded during the same sessions as their last album, Aprender A Ser. Mint Field decided to split the work into an album and an EP because they felt it was too dense for a double album and wanted these songs to coexist in another space and have their own moment to shine. Like Aprender A Ser, the EP incorporates influences from shoegaze, trip-hop, dream pop, and electronic music. The final track features a long-time friend, cellist Mabe Fratti.
