LONELY WHALE

Description

“She’s a diva!” — that’s what the legendary pianist Ahmad Jamal used to say about Mina Agossi and her impressive self-taught career in the world of jazz. She toured for more than 30 years around the world with her unusual group or as a special guest of legends such as Archie Shepp or Ahmad Jamal. In 2020, Mina discovered the Paris electro scene and began a new collaboration with the group AGE7, co-founded by Marc Charrière, former keyboardist and sound designer for Peter Gabriel, Chavan and Eddy Mitchell, and his colleague Fabien Miedzianowski, an incredible guitarist and composer. “Lonely Whales” is the result of this invigorating encounter — an album full of electro-jazz power and hypnotic melodies.
