More graou than miaou, Miki, a young Franco-Korean artist, has been searching for herself in the haze of after-parties and during her BlaBlaCar rides. A geek, producer and musician, she has listened a lot to Japanese city pop and electronic music. By tinkering with sounds and distorting her voice, she has built a powerful megaphone for intimate, unfiltered writing. With each new concert (Transmusicales de Rennes, Festival des Inrocks, Hyperweekend Festival), Miki reveals a little more of what she has been preparing for the past few months in a corner of her bedroom. After the much-noticed release of her first two tracks “jtm encore” and “échec et mat” (several million views on social media), she sold out her Point Éphémère in no time. Her concert at the Gaîté Lyrique also being sold out, she will take to the Olympia stage next October 10 and will be touring across France. Her now highly anticipated debut EP “graou” will be released on March 7.
