The retrospective set of the first 4 solo albums by the krautrock legend: Michael Rother! When it comes to the world of Krautrock, Michael Rother is a true legend. In addition to having helped form Kraftwerk, the hero of German music was also part of the famous groups Neu! and Harmonia, and even recorded a full album in collaboration with the great Brian Eno. On top of this long list of achievements, Rother also released a large series of solo albums - and it is these works that will now be celebrated with this new, very comprehensive box set! The set includes Rother’s first four solo albums: Flammende Herzen (1977), Sterntaler (1978), Katzenmusik (1979) and Fernwärme (1982). In addition, the box set includes a booklet written with the help of Paul Weller from Pearl Jam, including Rother’s more recent composition for the films Die Raeuber and Houston. The box set also includes liner notes written with the help of Paul Weller from The Jam and the British band Boxed In.
