The retrospective box set of Krautrock legend Michael Rother's first 4 solo albums! When it comes to the world of Krautrock, Michael Rother is a true legend. In addition to helping form Kraftwerk, the German music hero was also a member of the famous bands Neu! and Harmonia, and even recorded a full album in collaboration with the great Brian Eno. In addition to this long list of achievements, Rother has also released a large series of solo albums - and it is these works that will now be celebrated with this new comprehensive box set! The set includes Rother's first four solo albums: Flammende Herzen (1977), Sterntaler (1978), Katzenmusik (1979) and Fernwärme (1982). Furthermore, the box set includes a booklet written with the help of Paul Weller of Pearl Jam, including Rother's more recent compositions for the films Die Raeuber and Houston. The box set also includes liner notes written with the help of Paul Weller of The Jam and the British band Boxed In.
