The Snow Abides by Michael Cashmore reissued on vinyl for the first time as a complete album in December via Svart Records. Michael Cashmore, the main guitarist and composer of Current 93 from 1990 to around 2006, presents his 2007 solo The Snow Abides featuring the voices of Anohni (Antony and the Johnsons), Bill Fay, and David Tibet (Current 93). 'The Snow Abides Completely' includes all recordings made between 1999 and 2001 from the original sessions of The Snow Abides. An edition of these recordings was released by Durtro Jnana in 2007. Now finally released with a total of 12 tracks, 5 of which are unreleased featuring vocals by David Tibet and lyrics and music by Michael Cashmore, it is an essential album to have for any fan of Current 93. "When I was writing these musical pieces and these texts, I was suffering from deep depression. I was also extremely shy and had such low self-esteem that I was simply embarrassed by my texts - to the point that I couldn't let them go. It is only now, about seven years later, after a personal transformation through divine love and positivity, that I no longer have such issues and am finally able to release them here."
