Intimate poetry, a dance of bodies and machines, Mesparrow releases her fourth album, L'essence vagabonde. In it, she loops her voice to become, on her own, a choir of women. "Femme phare" (Lighthouse Woman) concludes this album with a tender declaration of sisterhood. Marion Gaume takes us on a sensitive and introspective adventure of 11 tracks, reflecting her quest for her essence. From the very first words, "Poussière d'étoile" (Stardust) evokes a spark of life shining in the immensity of space, for a journey as cosmic as it is internal. The author-musician explores all the nuances and colors of her voices. This research notably leads her to naturally blend English with her native language. Mesparrow embraces her multiple facets, which are revealed on tracks like "Infinite," "Open up," and "Stronger." Simon Carbonnel, also known as Aune, contributes his search for textures with contemporary electronic sounds from the very composition stage, using his analog synthesizers, samplers, and drum machines. This lover of machines creates an atmosphere that sublimates the images conveyed by the lyrics, thus shaping our sensory experience.
