Silver Town is the studio album by The Men They Couldn't Hang, released in 1989. The band was well-known on the British punk scene, sharing connections with David Bowie, The Pogues, and Stiff Little Fingers. Silver Town is their fourth studio album, from which several singles were released, including A Place in the Sun and Rain Steam & Speed. "Rosettes" was also set to be released as a single, but it was canceled after the Hillsborough disaster, as the song addresses hooligan culture.
