Melody's Echo Chamber unveils her 4th album With the participation of Leon Michels (El Michels Affair) With Unclouded, Melody's Echo Chamber begins a new chapter, bright and full of vitality. The symbolic clouds have dissipated to make way for clarity… This brighter vision permeates both the sunny grooves of the album and its more grounded lyrics: the desire for escape has given way to a true connection with nature and the present moment. The impressive lineup surrounding Unclouded includes Swedish maestro Sven Wunder (Danny Brown), co-producer and co-writer of the record, who brought his unique sound palette to this richly textured canvas; Josefin Runsteen on strings, who infuses her avant-garde boldness; Daniel Ögren (band Dina Ögon) on guitar and Love Örsan on bass, whom Melody describes as "masters of the velvety groove"; British drummer Malcolm Catto, collaborator of Madlib and DJ Shadow and driving force of the group The Heliocentrics; as well as Reine Fiske (from Dungen), a regular collaborator, who contributed beautiful guitar parts with "Johnny Marr" accents scattered throughout the album. Finally, Leon Michels — collaborator of Wu-Tang, The Carters, Norah Jones, and Clairo — worked with Melody on the album's closing track and recent single "Daisy," a sparkling pop song that came from the ether. Jens Jungkurth, Grammy Award-winning sound engineer and a longtime associate of the El Michels Affair project, was brought in to bring it all to life.
