Between the two musicians separated by a generation, an artistic affinity develops, a connection. On one side, Melaine Dalibert, minimalist and abstract pianist, who explores the sound properties of his instrument, with variations, dissonances, colors, resonances, and silences... On the other, David Sylvian, immense voice of English pop, member of the group Japan (1974-1982), but also author of a vast ambient, instrumental, and electronic work. The album "Vermilion Hours" embodies a new stage of their collaboration. Melaine Dalibert, on piano, and David Sylvian, on machines, offer a musical interpretation of the shimmer of morning light; a vibrant and harmonious dialogue.
