Rêver

Description

"Rêver" is the first album by Mèche. It was produced with Abdella Souni, who also accompanies her on stage. These recordings, which began in early 2020, are finally seeing the light of day! 14 songs that invite us to dream, to the imaginary, to travel, with a rock touch that ultimately brings us back down to Earth. Constantly daydreaming, Mèche can't help but dream. She started loving music at a young age, beginning with learning the trumpet. Immersed in song and classical music, she discovered the joy of singing and writing her own lyrics in French. She stumbled upon Nick Cave and PJ Harvey, St Vincent, and Scorpions, and she tries to draw inspiration from them. She tells stories and feelings, from invented reality to realistic daydreaming. She picked up the electric guitar in 2015 and has been performing solo with her songs. She sings images, feelings, and landscapes… Emotions in black and white and in color, Mèche is the story of a girl who waits… Hope on the tip of her tongue. Dreaming is the common thread of these new songs. Nightmares, hopes, stories… The imagination in full swing, we are going to spend a moment dreaming together and remaking the world through music and words.
