Following the release of the incendiary rock album ‘Funeral For Justice’ earlier this year, Mdou Moctar today presents its meditative counterpart with ‘Tears Of Injustice’. Mdou Moctar (guitar, vocals), Ahmouhou Madassane (rhythm guitar and backing vocals), Souleymane Ibrahim (drums), and Mikey Coltun (bass) have entirely rethought, rearranged, and re-recorded the album to be played solely with acoustic and traditional instruments, still bearing raw and committed witness to the post-colonial realities impacting Niger and the Tuareg people.
