McChurch Soundroom was founded in Switzerland in 1970 and was signed relatively quickly after by the PILZ label. Musically, the band was in the same vein as their contemporaries U.F.O., Black Sabbath, and Jethro Tull, offering muscular, dark, blues-influenced rock. In 1971, *Delusion* was released, the band's first and only album. A cult classic! Produced by Jürgen Schmeisser and Conny Plank* in just two days at Star-Studios in Hamburg. Carefully remastered. *Conny Plank, the man, the sound engineer behind most of the Krautrock bands of the early 70s (Neu!, Kraftwerk, Cluster, Harmonia, Ash Ra Tempel, Guru Guru, Kraan...).
