OSCILLATE

Description

Indie/folk musician Matt Winson comes from that generation of artists who started making music in their bedroom before being spotted online for their talent. Now joined by three other musicians, here is their second album, Oscillate. Compared to the previous album Woodfalls, which consisted mainly of pop songs in a folk jacket, Oscillate takes a different direction in terms of style, with more room for experimental and varied compositions. The banjo has partly been replaced by the sound of electric guitar, and the source of inspiration comes from classical and electronic music. It creates a new sound that remains recognizable, with singer Matthijs Steur’s dreamy falsetto as the reference point.
