The Third Chimpanzee E.P.

Description

Martin Gore, founding member of Depeche Mode, is back with a magnificent instrumental EP. Following the success of his critically acclaimed first instrumental album MG, Martin Gore, songwriter and founding member of the legendary band Depeche Mode, is back and in top form with a new instrumental EP titled The Third Chimpanzee E.P., due for release on January 29, 2021 via Mute/[PIAS]. Produced and written by Martin and recorded this year at Electric Ladyboy Studio in Santa Barbara, California, The Third Chimpanzee is a five-track EP with rich and fierce production, blending new wave and atmospheric electro cuts. About the EP, Martin says: "when it came to naming the EP, I remembered reading the book 'The Rise and Fall of the Third Chimpanzee'. So it made sense to call it that, because this EP was created by one of the 'three chimpanzees'." A rare gem that will take you on a journey into Martin Gore's unique and atmospheric universe!
