New solo project by Guillaume Marietta after The Feeling of Love: First intimate album, recorded alone and pieced together in a bedroom on a cassette 4-track in 2014. Ten raw, lysergic, and melancholic songs, with folk, pop, and psychedelic tones. "Back to the bedroom, to happy accidents, to magical mistakes. I flip the cassette over. I record over Bob Dylan, Syd Barrett, and in the grave of Beck. I pull out the drum machine, the flanger, and the classical guitar. Caffeine, nicotine. Trash bags under my eyes where children swing while singing. Anxiety of time passing. The pitched boy, the woman pouring. Take it as a trip. A colony of ants through the bloodstream. A broken yogurt pot in your hair. Baby whale sperm against a cloudy sky. Effervescent multicolored nail clippings. The sun in your mouth. I play by my own rules. I walk in the footsteps of my home.
