This new project is composed and produced in collaboration with her husband Pierre Guerineau and Asaël Robitaille, who form a group that will perform live under the name Marie Davidson & L'Oeil nu. It features all the characteristics of her previous work - her dark humor prevails throughout her very personal lyrics, based on her life, her farewell to the club scene, her frustration with this lifestyle, and the current Western neoliberalism and the world today. It's a bold, playful, and multifaceted record that approaches pop songwriting from the perspective of three music obsessives; they draw from their deepest musical influences, from Fleetwood Mac to Billie Holiday to Kraftwerk, to spin each of its songs in wildly imaginative directions.
