Tel Theseus unrolling the thread entrusted to Ariane to find his way in the labyrinth of the Minotaur, Marianne Piketty finds her way in the labyrinth of time by inventing the passage from the baroque to our present. To do this, she gives form and life to Ariane by intertwining the voices of Pietro Locatelli and Alex Nante. For the myth has inspired and still inspires. Locatelli, a violinist and composer as prodigious as Vivaldi, has set to music the abandonment of Ariane: Il Pianto d'Arianna expresses the pain of the freedom that separates and testifies, in a virtuosic manner, to the power of the imaginary. An audacious bearer of music, Marianne Piketty embodies this journey through time by reinventing, project after project, the appropriate form of the concert, whether live or recorded. That is why the musicians she gathers around her respond in the name of Concert Idéal, a dreamed project that this new album materializes.
